Most manufacturers would rate an $1100 speaker as reaching down into the mid-50s Hz, at least. 69 Hz is more like a compact bookshelf LF rating than a floorstander. But the CM8 never sounded bass-shy on any material and the bass quality was extraordinary in every respect.
